Abstract

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more particularly, to a method and apparatus for transmitting an uplink signal. A method for transmitting an uplink signal at a UE in a wireless communication system includes, when a virtual cell ID for a reference signal for demodulation of a physical uplink channel is provided, generating a sequence of the reference signal on the basis of the virtual cell ID, and transmitting the generated reference signal to an eNB. A cyclic shift hopping pattern of the reference signal can be determined on the basis of the virtual cell ID.

Claims

1. A method for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), uplink signals, the method comprising:

transmitting, by the UE, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and a PUCCH reference signal (PUCCH RS) for demodulation of the PUCCH; and

transmitting, by the UE, a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and a PUSCH reference signal (PUSCH RS) for demodulation of the PUSCH,

wherein the PUCCH RS is generated based on a first base sequence, and the PUSCH RS is generated based on a second base sequence,

wherein each of the first and second base sequences is determined based on a group-hopping pattern,

wherein a group-hopping pattern fgh,PUCCH for the PUCCH RS is determined based on a pseudo-random sequence which is initialized based on a first cell identity nPUCCHID∈

{0, . . . , 503}, and

wherein a group hopping pattern fgh,PUSCH for the PUSCH RS is determined based on a pseudo-random sequence which is initialized based on a second cell identity nPUSCHID∈

{0, . . . , 509}.

2. The method according to claim 1,

wherein each of the first and second base sequences is determined further based on a sequence-shift pattern,

4. The method according to claim 3,

wherein each of the first and second base sequences belongs to a sequence group u among a plurality of sequence groups, each of which consists of one or more base sequences,

wherein a sequence group uPUCCH to which the first base sequence belongs is determined based on ‘

uPUCCH=(fgh,PUCCH+fPUCCHSS) mod 30’

, and

wherein a sequence group uPUSCH to which the second base sequence belongs is determined based on ‘

uPUSCH=(fgh,PUSCH+fPUSCHSS) mod 30’

5. The method according to claim 1, wherein the first cell identity nPUCCHID is a physical layer cell identity of a serving cell, and the second cell identity nPUSCHID is a virtual cell identity provided by a higher layer signal.

6. The method according to claim 5, further comprising:

obtaining, by the UE, the physical layer cell identity based on a synchronization signal of the serving cell.

7. A user equipment (UE) for transmitting uplink signals, the UE comprising:

a transmitter, and

a processor configured to control the transmitter, the processor configured to;

control the transmitter to transmit a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and a PUCCH reference signal (PUCCH RS) for demodulation of the PUCCH; and

control the transmitter to transmit a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and a PUSCH reference signal (PUSCH RS) for demodulation of the PUSCH,

wherein the PUCCH RS is generated based on a first base sequence, and the PUSCH RS is generated based on a second base sequence,

wherein each of the first and second base sequences is determined based on a group-hopping pattern,

wherein a group-hopping pattern fgh,PUCCH for the PUCCH RS is determined based on a pseudo-random sequence which is initialized based on a first cell identity nPUCCHID∈

{0, . . . , 503}, and

wherein a group hopping pattern fgh,PUSCH for the PUSCH RS is determined based on a pseudo-random sequence which is initialized based on a second cell identity nPUSCHID∈

{0, . . . , 509}.

8. The UE according to claim 7,

wherein a sequence group uPUCCH to which the first base sequence belongs is determined based on ‘

uPUCCH=(fgh,PUCCH+fPUCCHSS) mod 30’

, and

wherein a sequence group uPUSCH to which the second base sequence belongs is determined based on ‘

11. The UE according to claim 7, wherein the first cell identity nPUCCHID is a physical layer cell identity of a serving cell, and the second cell identity nPUSCHID is a virtual cell identity provided by a higher layer signal.

12. The UE according to claim 11, further comprising:

a receiver configured to receive a synchronization signal of the serving cell and the higher layer signal,

wherein the processor is configured to obtain the physical layer cell identity based on from the synchronization signal of the serving cell.
