An electronic device comprising a display panel having a display region, and a housing incorporating the display panel,wherein the display panel comprises a first flexible substrate, a second flexible substrate, a display element, and a thin film transistor electrically connected to the display element and disposed between the first flexible substrate and the second flexible substrate,wherein the thin film transistor is formed over an insulating film,wherein the display panel comprises a driver circuit comprising thin film transistors over the insulating film,wherein the display panel includes a first region disposed at a front of the housing, the display panel being flat at least in the first region,wherein the display panel is bent at least in a region between the first region and the driver circuit, andwherein the display region overlaps with the region where the display panel is bent.
