1. A method of lighting control, the method comprising:
- detecting, by a control device of a lighting fixture, whether an AC power is available to the lighting fixture, wherein the availability of the AC power to the lighting fixture is controlled by a switch that is coupled to the lighting fixture, wherein the AC power is available to the lighting fixture when the switch is in an on-position, and wherein the AC power is unavailable to the lighting fixture when the switch is in an off-position;
controlling, by the control device of the lighting fixture, whether a driver power generated by a driver of the lighting fixture is provided to a light source of the lighting fixture, wherein the driver generates the driver power from the AC power provided to the lighting fixture and wherein the control device controls whether the driver provides the driver power to the light source based on whether the driver power was provided to the light source when the AC power was last available to the lighting fixture; and
providing, by the driver, the driver power to the light source of the lighting fixture if the driver power from the driver was not provided to the light source when the switch was last in the on-position such that the AC power was available to the lighting fixture.
