1. An electronic commerce system, comprising:

  • one or more buyer entities and one or more seller entities;

    one or more document repositories each including one or more documents used during a first electronic commerce transaction;

    one or more computers coupled with the one or more document repositories and comprising one or more processors, the one or more computers comprising;

    a global content directory including two or more classes organized in a hierarchy having an inverted tree structure, each class categorizing, using the one or more processors, the one or more documents and associated with one or more attributes of the one or more documents categorized in the class, at least one of the classes having one or more pointers that identify one or more of the one or more document repositories;

    a search interface associated with the global content directory, the search interface communicates, using the one or more processors, a search query to the one or more document repositories identified by one of the one or more pointers to search the one or more documents stored in the one or more document repositories;

    a security module associated with the global content directory, the security module decrypts, using the one or more processors, the one or more documents allowing a user computer to access the one or more documents;

    an intelligence module associated with the global content directory, the intelligence module updates, using the one or more processors, one or more sections in the one or more documents with current information based on a second electronic commerce transaction and creates, using the one or more processors, one or more blank standard documents from the one or more documents, the blank standard documents allowing the user computer to enter data into the sections of the blank standard document the first time the user computer accesses the blank standard document; and

    at least one of the one or more buyer entities initiates the second electronic commerce transaction with at least one of the one or more seller entities based, at least in part, on the updated one or more documents.
