transmitting the message to a second user account on a predetermined escalation list, wherein the predetermined escalation list is configured using the sender account prior to sending the message to the first user account; and
restricting the first user account from performing an action associated with the message.

The method further includes restricting the first user account from performing an action associated with the message.

determining that a first user account of an email application has not performed an action associated with a message for a first predetermined amount of time, wherein the first predetermined amount of time is configured using a sender account prior to sending the message to the first user account; and in response to determining that the first user account has not performed the action associated with the message for the first predetermined amount of time; transmitting the message to a second user account of the email application on a predetermined escalation list, wherein the predetermined escalation list is configured using the sender account prior to sending the message to the first user account; and authorizing the second user account for a second predetermined amount of time to send a response to the message in the email application, wherein the second predetermined amount of time is configured using the sender account prior to sending the message to the first user account.
