Abstract

A service that determines what event has occurred and provide a list of actions that the service can be performed in order to help the user through a hectic time period is disclosed. In one example, one or more modules can identify one or more events and transmitting an indication of the at least one event to a mobile device. Then, one or more modules can receive an indication that a mobile device has selected at least one of the at least one event, and determine at least one action to perform, wherein the at least one action can be associated with the at least one selected event.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

receiving, by a computer, an indication of a selected event, wherein the selected event comprises a car problem experienced by a user of a mobile device;

based on the selected event, executing, by the computer, a search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event;

obtaining, by the computer, search results based on the executed search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event; and

based on an electronic calendar associated with an account of the user of the mobile device, prioritizing, by the computer, the search results that are based on the executed search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the prioritizing the search results are further based on the electronic calendar associated with the account of an entity in the obtained search results.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the actions to be performed comprise a communication with a business for an auto service.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the actions to be performed comprise a communication with a taxi company for taxi services.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the actions to be performed comprise a communication for changing a flight for the user of the mobile device.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the prioritized search results that are based on the executed search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event are categorized based on a type of car problem, wherein the type of car problem comprises a flat tire or the car out of fuel.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the actions to be performed are associated with a communication with a business for an auto service, wherein the communication comprises a call to be performed automatically.

8. An apparatus comprising:

a processor; and

memory coupled with the processor, the memory comprising executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to effectuate operations comprising;

receiving an indication of a selected event, wherein the selected event comprises a car problem experienced by a user of the apparatus;

based on the selected event, executing a search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event;

obtaining search results based on the executed search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event; and

based on an electronic calendar associated with an account of the user of the apparatus, prioritizing the search results that are based on the executed search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event.

9. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the prioritizing the search results are further based on the electronic calendar associated with the account of an entity in the obtained search results.

10. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the actions to be performed comprise a communication with a business for an auto service.

11. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the actions to be performed comprise a communication with a taxi company for taxi services.

12. The apparatus of claim 8, the actions to be performed comprise a communication for changing a flight for the user of the mobile device.

13. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the prioritized search results that are based on the executed search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event are categorized based on a type of car problem, wherein the type of car problem comprises a flat tire or the car out of fuel.

14. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the actions to be performed are associated with a communication with a business for an auto service, wherein the communication comprises a call to be performed automatically.

15. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the apparatus comprises a mobile device.

16. The apparatus of claim 8, the operations further comprising automatically performing the actions as prioritized in the search results.

17. A apparatus comprising:

a processor; and

memory coupled with the processor, the memory comprising executable instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to effectuate operations comprising;

receiving an indication of a selected event, wherein the selected event comprises a car problem experienced by a user of the apparatus;

based on the selected event, executing a search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event;

obtaining search results based on the executed search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event; and

based on an electronic calendar associated with an account of the user of the apparatus, eliminating a first search result of the search results that are based on the executed search for actions to be performed for handling situations associated with the selected event.

18. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the eliminating the first search result of the search results are further based on the electronic calendar associated with the account of an entity in the obtained search results.

19. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the actions to be performed comprise a communication with a business for an auto service.

20. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the actions to be performed comprise a communication with a taxi company for taxi services.
