1. A method of selecting a mobile base station providing a mobile cell of a cellular communication network having a plurality of mobile base stations providing a plurality of mobile cells, the method comprising:

  • receiving, by a user equipment, mobility information representing a time-dependent location change of a first mobile base station providing a first mobile cell of the plurality of cells, the mobility information comprising a time-averaged historical speed of the first mobile base station and a time-averaged historical direction of movement of the first mobile base station; and

    selecting the first mobile base station providing the first mobile cell of the plurality of cells for the user equipment to camp on,wherein the selecting comprises processing the mobility information comprising the time-averaged historical speed and direction of movement of the mobile base station to determine whether the user equipment is to camp on the first mobile cell, and camping by the user equipment on the first mobile cell.
