1. An intravascular implant having a radiopaque marker, the intravascular implant comprising:
- a proximal undulating ring defining a proximal side of the intravascular implant comprising a plurality of proximal struts, the plurality of proximal struts comprising a plurality of first proximal struts and a plurality of second proximal struts, wherein each first proximal strut of the plurality of first proximal struts is connected to at least one second proximal strut of the plurality of second proximal struts, wherein a proximal end of each first proximal strut of the plurality of first proximal struts is connected to a proximal end of a second proximal strut of the plurality of second proximal struts to form a plurality of first proximal apices and a distal end of each first proximal strut of the plurality of first proximal struts is connected to a distal end of a second proximal strut of the plurality of second proximal struts to form a plurality of first distal apices, wherein at least one first proximal apex of the plurality of first proximal apices defines a proximal end of the intravascular implant;
a distal undulating ring defining a distal side of the intravascular implant comprising a plurality of distal struts, the plurality of distal struts comprising a plurality of first distal struts and a plurality of second distal struts, wherein each first distal strut of the plurality of first distal struts is connected to at least one second distal strut of the plurality of second distal struts, wherein a distal end of each first distal strut of the plurality of first distal struts is connected to a distal end of a second distal strut of the plurality of second distal struts to form a plurality of second distal apices and a proximal end of each first distal strut of the plurality of first distal struts is connected to a proximal end of a second distal strut of the plurality of second distal struts to form a plurality of second proximal apices, wherein at least one second distal apex of the plurality of second distal apices defines a distal end of the intravascular implant;
a plurality of bridge members located between and connected to the proximal undulating ring and the distal undulating ring, a first end of each bridge member of the plurality of bridge members being connected to a first distal apex of the plurality of first distal apices and a second end of each bridge member of the plurality of bridge members being connected to a second proximal apex of the plurality of second proximal apices;
a plurality of radiopaque markers, each radiopaque marker of the plurality of radiopaque markers being located at a central zone of each bridge member of the plurality of bridge members and having a generally flat outer surface.

Abstract
A plaque tack can be used for holding plaque against blood vessel walls such as in treating atherosclerotic occlusive disease. The plaque tack can be formed as a thin, annular band for holding loose plaque under a spring or other expansion force against a blood vessel wall. Focal elevating elements and/or other features, such as anchors, can be used to exert a holding force on a plaque position while minimizing the amount of material surface area in contact with the plaque or blood vessel wall and reducing the potential of friction with the endoluminal surface. This approach offers clinicians the ability to perform a minimally invasive post-angioplasty treatment and produce a stent-like result without using a stent.

a first circumferential member having a pattern that repeats circumferentially to form a ring, the ring defining a distal-most end of the intravascular implant, the pattern comprising; a first outward apex disposed between first and second struts, a second outward apex disposed between third and fourth struts, a first inward apex disposed between the second and third struts, and a second inward apex disposed adjacent to the fourth strut; a second circumferential member disposed adjacent to the first circumferential member, the second circumferential member defining a proximal-most end of the intravascular implant; and a plurality of bridge members, each bridge member of the plurality of bridge members having a first end coupled to the first circumferential member and a second end coupled to the second circumferential member, and each bridge member of the plurality of bridge members having at least one anchor disposed at or adjacent a central zone of the bridge member; and a plurality of radiopaque markers, each radiopaque marker of the plurality of radiopaque markers being positioned on a bridge member of the plurality of bridge members at the central zone of the bridge member. - View Dependent Claims (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14)

15. An intravascular implant having a radiopaque marker, the intravascular implant comprising:

a self-expanding frame comprising two circumferentially oriented rings, a first circumferentially oriented ring of the two circumferentially oriented rings defining a first end of the intravascular implant and second circumferentially oriented ring of the two circumferentially oriented rings defining a second end of the intravascular implant, the self-expanding frame having a length of less than or equal to about 15 mm and an expanded diameter of less than about 10 mm; a plurality of cells being located between the first circumferentially oriented ring and the second circumferentially oriented ring; and a series of radiopaque markers disposed between the two circumferentially oriented rings, the series of radiopaque markers being configured to offer clear visibility of the intravascular implant in a catheter delivery system and provide guidance to the clinician for accurate placement during a medical procedure, wherein the series of radiopaque markers is positioned circumferentially around the intravascular implant between the first end of the intravascular implant and the second end of the intravascular implant. - View Dependent Claims (16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
