1. A virtual rehabilitation system comprising:

  • (a) host computer system (HCS);

    (b) mobile user device (MUD);

    (c) video display unit (VDU);

    (d) video imaging unit (VIU);

    (e) operator interface computer (OIC); and

    (f) computer communication network (CCN);

    whereinsaid HCS is configured to retrieve audio/video information (AVI) from a video database (VDB) under control of a patient healthcare plan (PHP) tailored for a patient, wherein said PHP comprises a video script dataset (VSD), wherein said VSD describes an interaction with said patient via the controlled display of said AVI extracted from said VDB;

    said MUD is configured to execute said PHP autonomously upon receipt of said PHP from said HCS;

    said MUD, under control of said PHP, is configured to coordinate transmission of said AVI to said VDU based on said PHP via said CCN;

    said MUD is configured to coordinate simultaneous display of said AVI and of a real-time display of a healthcare provider on said VDU for presentation to said patient;

    said MUD is configured to collect patient imaging input (PII) associated with reaction of said patient to said AVI from said VIU;

    said MUD is configured to coordinate transmission of said AVI and said PII to said OIC via said CCN;

    said OIC is configured to present a simultaneous visual display of said PHP, said AVI and said PII;

    said OIC is configured to accept synchronized scoring inputs (SSI) responsive to said visual display and to accept PHP modifications;

    said OIC is configured to transmit said SSI and PHP modifications to said HCS via said CCN;

    said HCS is configured to update said AVI responsive to said PHP modifications, and to update said PHP based on said PHP modifications to generate an updated PHP;

    said HCS is configured to automatically transfer said updated PHP to said MUD via said CCN;

    said MUD is configured to execute said updated PHP autonomously upon receipt of said updated PHP from said HCS; and

    said HCS is configured to store said SSI in a patient history database (PHD).
