1. A method performed by a display device to provide advertising content, the method comprising:
- forming a first pairing between a first terminal and the display device;
obtaining first advertising content from an advertising server based on a first propensity information of a user of the first terminal, wherein the first propensity information includes interests of the user of the first terminal;
allocating the first advertising content to a first region;
forming a second pairing between a second terminal and the display device;
obtaining second advertising content from the advertising server based on a second propensity information of a user of the second terminal;
allocating the second advertising content to a second region; and
displaying the first advertising content on the first region and displaying the second advertising content on the second region,determining a size of the first region and a size of the second region based on a first duration for which the first pairing is maintained and a second duration for which the second pairing is maintained, wherein the size of the first region and the size of the second region are different.

A method for providing advertising content, performed by a display device, the method including forming a first pairing between a first terminal and the display device; receiving first advertising content from an advertising server corresponding to a first habit of a user of the first terminal; allocating the first advertising content to a first region among a plurality of regions of a display unit according to at least one of a distance between the first terminal and the display device and a duration for which the first pairing is maintained; and displaying the first advertising content on the first region.

a communication interface configured to communicate with a first terminal, a second terminal, and an advertising server; a controller configured to; form a first pairing between the first terminal and the display device through the communication interface, obtain first advertising content from the advertising server based on a first propensity information of a user of the first terminal, wherein the first propensity information includes interests of the user of the first terminal, allocate the first advertising content to a first region; form a second pairing between the second terminal and the display device through the communication interface, obtain second advertising content from the advertising server based on a second propensity information of a user of the second terminal, allocate the second advertising content to a second region; and a display configured to display the first advertising content on the first region and display the second advertising content on the second region, wherein a size of the first region and a size of the second region are different from each other, and are determined based on a first duration for which the first pairing is maintained and a second duration for which the second pairing is maintained. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19)

a communication interface configured to communication with a first terminal, a second terminal, and an advertising server; and a controller configured to; form a first pairing between the first terminal and the display device through the communication interface, wherein the first terminal is located within a predetermined distance of the display, obtain first advertising content from the advertising server based on a first propensity information of a user of the first terminal, wherein the first propensity information includes interests of the user of the first terminal, allocate the first advertising content to a first region, form a second pairing between the second terminal and the display device through the communication interface, wherein the first terminal is located within a predetermined distance of the display, obtain second advertising content from the advertising server based on a second propensity information of a user of the second terminal, allocate the second advertising content to a second region; and
a display configured to display the first advertising content on the first region and display the second advertising content on the second region,wherein a size of the first region and a size of the second region are different from each other, and are determined based on a first duration for which the first pairing is maintained and a second duration for which the second pairing is maintained. - View Dependent Claims (22, 23, 24)
