- a body comprising a first transceiver; and
a removable base comprising a second transceiver, wherein the first transceiver and the second transceiver are configured for wireless communication with one another;
mating surfaces on the body and the removable base positioned to reversibly couple the removable base to the body;
a memory carried by the removable base, the memory configured to store data for identifying a patient; and
a switch disposed on the removable base, the switch providing power to the body, wherein the switch comprises a protrusion configured to activate a button disposed on the body when the body is coupled to the removable base to provide the power.

a body comprising; a first transceiver; a processor configured to receive data from a physiological sensor; a memory configured to store the data; and a sensor port; a conformable identification bracelet; and a base carried by the conformable identification bracelet and relatively more rigid than the conformable identification bracelet, wherein the base is dimensioned to support the body, wherein the body is configured to detach from the base, and wherein the base comprises a second transceiver configured for wireless communication with the first transceiver, and a switch having a protrusion configured to activate a button on the body to turn on the body when the base is coupled to the body, and to release the button to turn off the body when the base is decoupled from the body, and wherein the base comprises a mechanical lock engaging a complementary surface of the body to reversibly couple the base to the body. - View Dependent Claims (20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26)
