Non-contact power supply system
First Claim
1. A non-contact power supply system that supplies power between a power reception coil that is provided to a vehicle and a power transmission coil that is provided to a power supply device in a non-contact manner by means of at least a magnetic coupling, the non-contact power supply system comprisingthe vehicle comprising:
- a vehicle side communication unit configured to permit power transmission from the power transmission coil to the power reception coil with respect to one power supply device among a plurality of the power supply devices and transmits a permission signal including identification information of the one power supply device;
a power detection unit configured to detect the power that is received by the power reception coil; and
a determination unit configured to determine whether or not a paired communication has been established between the vehicle side communication unit and a power supply device side communication unit,the power supply device comprising;
the power supply device side communication unit configured to transmit identification information of the power supply device and to receive the permission signal; and
a controller configured to output power from the power transmission coil to the power reception coil,the controller being configured to output power from the power transmission coil to the power reception coil, when the identification information of the power supply device and the identification information that is included in the permission signal that is received by the power supply device side communication unit match, andthe determination unit being configured to determine that the paired communication has been established between the one power supply device and the vehicle, when power is detected by the power detection unit.

Abstract
A non-contact power supply system supplies power in a non-contact manner between a power transmission coil of a power supply device and a power reception coil of a vehicle. A vehicle side communication unit permits power transmission from the power transmission coil to the power reception coil with respect to one of several power supply devices and transmits a permission signal including identification information of the power supply device. A determination unit determines if a paired communication has been established between the vehicle and the power supply device. The power supply device has a communication unit that receives the permission signal. A controller controls power from the power transmission coil to the power reception coil when the identification information of a power supply device and the identification information in a permission signal match. The determination unit determines that a paired communication has been established when power is detected.
