1. A method of controlling charging of a battery for a hybrid vehicle by a battery charging control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle, the method comprising:
- acquiring battery charging information of a battery;
subsequently estimating a state of health (SOH) of the battery based on the battery charging information;
calculating, based on the estimated SOH, battery charging parameters that are to be used for charging the battery; and
charging the battery by using the battery charging parameters,wherein the battery charging parameters comprise a charging current and a charging time, wherein the charging current is smaller than a predetermined initial charging current, wherein the charging time does not exceed a predetermined initial charging time, wherein the predetermined initial charging current and the predetermined initial charging time are calculated based on an initial battery charging power and an initial capacity of the battery.
