1. A computer-implemented method of interfacing with an automation system, comprising:
- identifying one or more trigger parameters associated with a mobile control panel, wherein the one or more trigger parameters comprise voice activation by a user; and
altering a status of an interface of the mobile control panel based at least in part on the one or more trigger parameters;
wherein altering the status of the interface includes at least one of activating the interface from a concealed state and deactivating the interface by concealing the interface;
wherein the control panel is disguised as a household object that does not appear to be a control panel and the control panel is without visible user inputs when the interface is concealed.
