Method for processing a web service in an NRT service and a broadcast receiver
First Claim
1. A method of receiving a broadcast service from a broadcast signal by a broadcast receiver, the method comprising:
- receiving the broadcast signal carrying the broadcast service and signaling data,wherein the broadcast service includes one or more files, andwherein the signaling data and the one or more files are carried through internet protocol (IP) packets;
decoding the signaling data in the broadcast signal,wherein the signaling data includes service information supporting a service acquisition for the broadcast service, wherein the service information further includes service identification information for identifying the broadcast service and service category information for indicating a category of the broadcast service,wherein the signaling data further includes a transport session description element including a Transport Session Identifier (TSI) for a transport channel in a transport session, a start time for the transport channel, an end time for the transport channel, and bandwidth information for representing a maximum bit-rate required by the transport channel,wherein the signaling data further includes a content description element, andwherein the content description element includes content label for representing identification information for the one or more files to be delivered, start time information for specifying a start time for the one or more files to be delivered, and end time information for specifying an end time for the one or more files to be delivered;
decoding audio and video content based on the decoded signaling data; and
presenting the decoded audio and video data.

Abstract
A method of processing a web service in a Non-Real Time (NRT) service and the broadcast receiver are disclosed herein. A method of providing an NRT service in a broadcasting receiver may include receiving first signaling information, identifying whether a service type of an NRT service is a web service based upon the first signaling information, identifying a web page type and a web page version of the NRT service and browsing the NRT service. The method may further include connecting a service signaling channel, parsing the received first signaling information, determining whether the NRT service is supported in the broadcasting receiver and consuming the web contents of the NRT service. The NRT service may include at least one of a fixed NRT service and a mobile NRT service. The first signaling information may be a data casting description table (DDT) if the NRT service is the fixed NRT service. The first signaling information may be a service map table (SMT) if the NRT service is the mobile NRT service. The DDT may include a first field identifying the NRT service and a second field identifying a type of the NRT service. The type of the web service may include at least one of a web document of text HTML and a web document of CE-HTML. The third field and the fourth field may be valid if the type of the received service is the web service based upon the second field.
