- providing a software application for posting available hard copy space for advertisements for sale, wherein the hard copy space is not associated with the organization making the hard copy space available, and furthermore wherein the advertisement is uniquely identified;
printing on demand a hard copy advertising document to a first consumer with content specifically for the first consumer based on information from the first consumer collected during an ordering process, the information comprising preferences of the first consumer and address of the first consumer;
and delivering a hard copy advertising document to a first consumer, wherein the hard copy advertisement can be acted on by the first consumer for their benefit from the list consisting of;
reduced cost goods, reduced cost services, free goods, and free services or conveyed to another;
wherein the hard copy advertising document includes a machine readable code to facilitate redemption, wherein the machine readable code includes a unique identifier for the hard copy advertising document to facilitate transferring benefit of the hard copy advertisement to another and to limit redemption to a single use;
reading the machine readable code from the hard copy advertising document using a device; and
electronically transferring within an electronic message benefit of the hard copy advertising document from the first consumer to a second consumer using the unique identifier for the hard copy advertising document such that the hard copy can be acted on by the second consumer for their benefit from the list consisting of;
reduced cost goods, reduced cost services, free goods, and free services;
wherein the hard copy advertising document is printed on a physical item selected from the list consisting of;
a coffee cup, a coffee cup holder, a straw wrapper, a napkin, a restaurant menu, a bottle, and a box.

The present invention relates to the use of Free Delivery to create a new system, method, and apparatus for delivering uniquely identified hard copy advertising and marketing materials to a consumer, which includes a system, method, and apparatus for Coupon Exchange, in which the coupon may be a hard copy or soft copy, which includes a uniquely identified bar code or other uniquely identified machine readable code, or which may be configured as a structured or semi-structured electronic message.
