    said body having a center of gravity;

    wherein said body comprises a receptacle, said receptacle comprising a terminal end and an open end;

    a weighted insert;

    a weight retention system configured to receive said weighted insert, said weight retention system comprising;

    a weight retention member residing within said receptacle; and

    a head locking member residing within said receptacle;

    wherein said weight retention member, said head locking member, and said body are formed separately;

    wherein said weight retention member comprises a weight retention member locating feature, said weight retention member locating feature comprising a slot formed in an end of said weight retention member,wherein said head locking member retains said weight retention member within said receptacle;

    wherein said weight retention system comprises an opening configured to receive said weighted insert, said opening located at said open end of said receptacle;

    wherein said weighted insert comprises a heavy end and a lighter end, wherein said weight retention system is configured to receive said weighted insert in both a first configuration and a second configuration, wherein said first configuration comprises said heavy end of said weighted insert adjacent said opening of said weight retention system and said second configuration comprises said lighter end of said weighted insert adjacent said opening of said weight retention system;

    wherein at least a portion of said receptacle is located on said sole;

    wherein said receptacle includes a large bore located at said open end of said receptacle and a small bore formed adjacent said large bore, wherein a first shelf is formed at the intersection of said large bore and said small bore and a second shelf is formed at an opposite end of said small bore;

    wherein said small bore includes a small bore locating feature;

    wherein said small bore locating feature comprises a recess formed in a small bore wall;

    wherein said head locking member comprises;

    a head locking member locating feature configured to engage said small bore locating feature;

    wherein said head locking member locating feature comprises a rib extending radially outwards, said rib residing within said recess of said small bore wall to prevent rotation of said head locking member relative to said body of said golf club head;

    a second head locking member locating feature comprising a deflectable cantilever arm;

    wherein said second head locking member locating feature resides within said weight retention member locating feature,wherein said second head locking member locating feature comprises a protrusion extending outwards radially, said protrusion including a tapered ramp, said protrusion configured to abut said second shelf and lock said head locking member within said receptacle;

    a head locking feature;

    wherein said weighted insert comprises an insert locking feature configured to engage said head locking feature as said insert locking feature is rotated relative to said head locking feature;

    wherein said insert locking feature is configured to lock said weighted insert in said receptacle with less than 180 degrees of rotation of said insert locking feature relative to said head locking feature;

    wherein said head locking feature comprises a slot, wherein said slot is arranged at an oblique angle relative to a longitudinal axis of said receptacle;

    wherein said insert locking feature comprises a locking protrusion configured to engage said slot, said locking protrusion and said slot configured such that rotation of said insert locking feature relative to said head locking feature forces said insert locking feature to slide along said receptacle towards said terminal end of said receptacle;

    wherein a majority of said body, by weight, is formed from a first material having a first density; and

    wherein said weight retention member and said head locking member are formed from a second material, said second material having a second density and wherein said second density is less than said first density.
