- receiving, at a private branch exchange (PBX), an instruction to route a call to a phone associated with a mobile station;
establishing a fork, by the PBX, to route the call to the phone and to an enterprise gateway server;
routing, by the enterprise gateway server, the call to a carrier network;
notifying, by the enterprise gateway server, the private branch exchange that the mobile station is ringing; and
cancelling, by the private branch exchange, the call to the phone responsive to receiving an indication that the call was answered at the mobile station.
