1. A dual case system for operatively mounting a fall detection device on a user, either around a wrist of the user, or to an article of clothing of the user, the dual case system comprising:
- a wrist band comprising;
a central housing having a top wall and opposing side walls and opposing end walls, the side walls and the end walls extending downwardly from the top surface to an opening perimeter, the top wall, the side walls, and the end walls together forming a receiving cavity which can be accessed through the opening perimeter, the receiving cavity being shaped to receive and frictionally engage the fall detection device;
a first attachment strap extending from one of the end walls of the central housing;
a second attachment strap extending from the other of the end walls of the central housing; and
a plurality of longitudinally spaced lateral ridges on the first attachment strap, a plurality of grooves on the second attachment strap, a first set of magnets disposed in the first attachment strap, and a second set of magnets disposed in the second attachment strap, the first and second sets of magnets being positioned to magnetically bias the first and second attachment straps towards a locking configuration wherein the ridges engage the slots; and
a clothing clip comprising;
a main housing having a base, a front wall, a rear wall, and lateral walls, the front wall, the rear wall, and the lateral walls extending upwardly from the base to an upper perimeter, the base, the front and rear walls, and the lateral walls together forming an inner cavity which can be accessed through the upper perimeter, the inner cavity being shaped to receive and frictionally engage the fall detection device;
a cutout window formed in part of the front wall and part of the base, the cutout window enabling the user to push the fall detection device from within the inner cavity; and
a hook extending from the main housing for removably mounting the main housing on the article of clothing of the user.

Abstract
A dual case system includes a wrist band and a belt hook for operatively mounting a fall detection device on a user. The wrist band includes a central housing that is shaped to receive and frictionally engage the fall detection device. The clothing clip includes a main housing having an inner cavity which can be accessed through an upper perimeter for receiving and frictionally engaging the fall detection device. A hook extends from the main housing for removably mounting the main housing on the article of clothing of the user.
