1. A method for augmenting webpages to provide video content, the method comprising the following operations performed by at least one processor:

  • identifying, by a content parser, a plurality of keywords contained in a webpage;

    generating a keyword association list;

    receiving, at a remote processor, code from a browser comprising data corresponding to the identified keywords, video content related to the identified keywords, and a request for a video content package to be returned;

    analyzing existing rules for video content related to the identified keywords;

    modifying the webpage to include a link from at least one of the identified keywords contained in the webpage, the link providing access to first video content associated with the at least one identified keyword;

    causing the first video content to be presented to a user in response to user interaction with the link on the webpage;

    updating the link to provide access to second video content, the second video content being different from the first video content, wherein the link is updated when the second video content is dynamically prioritized based on the analyzed existing rules, over the first video content; and

    subsequent to updating the link, causing the second video content to be presented to a user in response to user interaction with the link on the webpage;

    wherein at least one of the first video content and the second video content are associated with advertising video content that is displayed in combination with the first video content or second video content.
