1. A method of making a test cartridge for measuring an analyte or property of a liquid sample, the method comprising the steps of:

  • (a) molding a housing comprising;

    (i) a top portion including a first substantially rigid zone and a substantially flexible zone, and (ii) a bottom portion including a second substantially rigid zone, wherein the second substantially rigid zone comprises one or more sensor recesses;

    (b) inserting a sensor into at least one of the one or more sensor recesses;

    (c) abutting the top portion with the bottom portion; and

    (d) sealing the housing in a closed position, wherein the sealing forms the test cartridge, and the test cartridge comprises a conduit, formed by the top portion and the bottom portion of the housing, over at least a portion of the sensor.
