1. A method of controlling undesired vegetation, which comprises applying to the undesired vegetation or an area adjacent the undesired vegetation or applying to soil or water to control the emergence or growth of the undesired vegetation a composition comprising:

  • 1) an agriculturally acceptable adjuvant or carrier;

    2) an herbicidally active ingredient consisting of (a) aminopyralid, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof and (b) clopyralid, or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof,wherein the acid equivalent weight ratio of (a) to (b) is from 1;

    5 to 2;

    1;

    wherein the undesirable vegetation comprises honey mesquite; and

    the aminopyralid or agriculturally acceptable salt or ester thereof is applied at a rate of 70-400 g ae/ha.
