1. An electronic gaming machine comprising:

  • at least one display device;

    at least one input device;

    at least one processor; and

    at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to;

    responsive to a wager being placed, via the at least one input device, in association with a play of a game;

    deduct the placed wager from a credit balance,determine a game outcome,cause the at least one display device to display the determined game outcome,determine any award associated with the determined game outcome,cause the at least one display device to display any determined award associated with the determined game outcome, andmodify the credit balance based on any determined award associated with the determined game outcome, andresponsive to an interruption event occurring independent of any player input to cause a modification of the credit balance and upon an occurrence of a prefailure condition of a mobile device, automatically;

    cause a wireless transmission of data to the mobile device, said data associated with an amount of funds to transfer to a cashless wagering account accessed via a mobile device application of the mobile device, andmodify the credit balance based on the transferred amount of funds.
