1. A transparency comprising:

  • a substrate;

    a polymer film on the substrate; and

    a conductive mesh formed by a plurality of inkjet printed electrically conductive lines on the polymer film,wherein the transparency has a transmittance in the near infrared range of wavelengths of 700 to 900 nm and a visible light transmittance greater than 70%,wherein the polymer film comprises polycarbonate or polyurethane,wherein at least one inkjet printed electrically conductive line intersects at least one other inkjet printed electrically conductive line,wherein the conductive mesh has a sheet resistance in a range of about 0.15 to about 1,000 ohms/sq, andwherein the transparency is configured to provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding.
