1. An adapter comprising:
- a CHAdeMO socket on an input side of the adapter for receiving a charging station connector of a CHAdeMO charging station;
a CCS connector on an output side of the adapter for connection to an electric vehicle; and
an electronic circuit logic which embeds signal states entering via the CHAdeMO socket into a CAN message and provides the embedded signal states as an output signal,wherein the electronic circuit logic forwards a CAN message occurring in communication during a charging process from the CHAdeMO charging station or from a charging manager of the electric vehicle unchanged to a respective destination.
