1. A liquid cleaning composition comprising:

  • a) insoluble cationically-modified cellulose particles selected from the group consisting of microcrystalline cellulose, microfibrillated cellulose, nanocrystalline cellulose, cellulose nanofibers obtained by electrospinning and subsequently crushing the nanofibers, and mixtures thereof, wherein the cellulose particles have an average size of from 0.05 to 200 μ

    m;

    b) an external structurant selected from the group consisting of di-benzylidene polyol acetal derivative, bacterial cellulose, coated bacterial cellulose, di-amide gellants, and mixtures thereof; and

    c) from about 25% to about 90% by weight of the composition of water, wherein the weight ratio of modified cellulose particle to external structurant is from 1;
