1. A radio frequency (RF) imaging device comprising:

  • an RF sensor assembly configured to receive an RF signal for capturing an RF image of a portion of a space disposed behind a surface and output data representing the RF signal;

    an optical position sensor assembly including at least a first optical position sensor and a second optical position sensor, wherein each optical position sensor is disposed at a different location on the RF imaging device, and wherein each optical position sensor is configured to detect a displacement of the respective optical position sensor and output respective data representing the detected displacement;

    a memory; and

    a processor configured to;

    receive the data representing the RF signal;

    determine the RF image based at least in part on the data representing the RF signal;

    receive the data representing detected displacements of the first and second optical position sensors;

    determine both a position and a tilt of the RF imaging device based at least in part on the data representing the detected displacements; and

    associate, in the memory, the position and the tilt of the RF imaging device with the determined RF image.
