Apparatus for transmitting broadcast signals, apparatus for receiving broadcast signals, method for transmitting broadcast signals and method for receiving broadcast signals
First Claim
1. A method of receiving a broadcast signal by an apparatus for receiving the broadcast signal, the method comprising:
- receiving the broadcast signal including link layer packets, wherein each link layer packet includes a link layer packet header and a payload, wherein a packet type of input packets encapsulated in the link layer packets is an Internet Protocol (IP) packet type or a MPEG-2 TS packet type, wherein the link layer packet header includes an information field for identifying whether a segmentation of an input packet or a concatenation of an input packet with another input packet is performed, and wherein when the packet type of the input packets is the IP packet type, headers of the input packets are compressed based on Robust Header Compression (RoHC) of unidirectional mode;
processing the broadcast signal;
decapsulating the link layer packets into the input packets based on the information field; and
decompressing the headers of the input packets based on the packet type of the input packets.

Abstract
The present invention provides a method of transmitting broadcast signals. The method includes, formatting input streams into Data Pipe (DP) data, Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) encoding the DP data according to a code rate, bit interleaving the LDPC encoded DP data, mapping the hit interleaved DP data onto constellations, building at least one signal frame including the mapped DP data, and modulating data in the built signal frame by an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) method and transmitting the broadcast signals having the modulated data, wherein the input streams include Audio/Video (A/V) data and service guide data, and wherein the Audio/Video (A/V) data and service guide data are included in first ISO base media file format (ISOBMFF) files.
