1. A method, comprising:

  • identifying, by an enterprise gateway server, a mobile telephone as a destination to which a call should be routed based on criteria comprising at least one of call routing criteria and profile criteria;

    terminating, by the enterprise gateway server, the call to a wireless network;

    sending, via the wireless network, a trigger message to a carrier gateway server to proceed with routing the call, wherein the trigger message comprises dialed digits associated with the call, and wherein responsive to the trigger message being received, the carrier gateway server communicates with the enterprise gateway server to route the call;

    determining whether a subscriber associated with the mobile telephone has an active badge status according to a designated time permitting calls to be routed to the mobile telephone; and

    responsive to identifying the active badge status, permitting the call to be routed to the mobile telephone.
