Overtube and endoscopic surgical device
First Claim
1. An overtube comprising:
- a cylindrical body having a distal end, a base end, and a longitudinal axis;
a distal end opening provided at the distal end of the cylindrical body;
a base end opening provided at the base end of the cylindrical body;
an endoscope insertion passage that is provided along the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body, couples the distal end opening and the base end opening together, and allows an endoscope insertion part to be inserted therethrough so as to be movable forward and backward;
a fluid passage having a fluid supply and discharge port and a base-end-side connection port, wherein the fluid supply and discharge port is arranged in an inner wall surface of the endoscope insertion passage and opens to an inside of the endoscope insertion passage on a distal-end-side of the endoscope insertion passage, and the base-end-side connection port connects to a fluid supply/suction device that supplies and suctions a fluid; and
a pressure-contact member that positions a distal end of the endoscope insertion part at a first position closer to a base end side of the cylindrical body than a distal-end-side end of the fluid supply and discharge port,wherein the pressure-contact member includes a locking part having a projection provided in the endoscope insertion passage for locking the endoscope insertion part to the cylindrical body when the endoscope insertion part moves to the base end side of the cylindrical body along the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical body.

Abstract
A distal end of an endoscope insertion passage of an overtube is provided with a fluid supply and discharge port. When an observation window of the endoscope insertion part inserted through the endoscope insertion passage is cleaned, an operator can set a distal end surface at a predetermined positioning position using a positioning mechanism, without extracting the endoscope insertion part from the endoscope insertion passage. A concave cleaning storage part that communicates with the fluid supply and discharge port is formed inside the endoscope insertion passage on the distal end side. Cleaning water is supplied from the fluid supply and discharge port to remove foreign matter from the observation window, and stored in the cleaning storage part, and then, the cleaning water stored in the cleaning storage part is suctioned from the fluid supply and discharge port.
