1. An electronic device comprising:
- wireless power antenna circuitry;
a power supply configured to supply direct current (DC) power;
a conversion circuit;
a communication unit; and
a controller configured to;
receive, through the communication unit, a signal from an external electronic device;
identify a wireless power scheme based on a type of the received signal, the wireless power scheme comprising one from among a first wireless power scheme and a second wireless power scheme;
select one from among a transmission mode and a reception mode based on the received signal; and
identify a wireless power frequency corresponding to the wireless power scheme,wherein the wireless power antenna circuitry comprises;
first wireless power antenna circuitry corresponding to the first wireless power scheme and connected to the conversion circuit, andsecond wireless power antenna circuitry corresponding to the second wireless power scheme and connected to the conversion circuit,wherein the first wireless power antenna circuitry is electrically connected in parallel to the second wireless power antenna circuitry, andwherein the controller, in response to the transmission mode being selected, is further configured to;
control the conversion circuit to convert the DC power to alternating current (AC) power using the wireless power frequency, andtransmit, through the wireless power antenna circuitry, the AC power to the external electronic device,wherein the first wireless power antenna circuitry is electrically connected between a first connection point and a second connection point of the conversion circuit, andthe second wireless power antenna circuitry is electrically connected to the first connection point via a first capacitor and to the second connection point via a second capacitor.

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure includes a power supply configured to supply DC power, a controller configured to determine a wireless power transmission mode or a wireless power reception mode if at least one electronic device is detected, and output a control signal indicating a wireless power transmission frequency supported by the detected electronic device from among a plurality of wireless power transmission frequencies if the wireless power transmission mode is determined, a conversion circuit configured to output the DC power supplied from the power supply as AC power in response to the control signal output from the controller and a wireless power transceiver configured to transmit the AC power supplied.

11. A method for wireless charging in an electronic device, the method comprising:

receiving, through a communication unit of the electronic device, a signal from an external electronic device; identifying, by a controller of the electronic device, a wireless power scheme based on a type of the received signal, the wireless power scheme comprising one from among a first wireless power scheme and a second wireless power scheme; selecting, by the controller, one from among a transmission mode and a reception mode based on the received signal; and identifying, by the controller, a wireless power frequency corresponding to the wireless power scheme, wherein, in response to the transmission mode being selected, the method further comprises; converting, through a conversion circuit of the electronic device, direct current (DC) power to alternating current (AC) power using the identified wireless power frequency; and transmitting, through a wireless power antenna circuitry, the AC power to the external electronic device, wherein the wireless power antenna circuitry includes; first wireless power antenna circuitry corresponding to the first wireless power scheme and connected to the conversion circuit, and second wireless power antenna circuitry corresponding to the second wireless power scheme and connected to the conversion circuit, and wherein the first wireless power antenna circuitry is electrically connected in parallel to the second wireless power antenna circuitry, wherein the first wireless power antenna circuitry is electrically connected between a first connection point and a second connection point of the conversion circuit, and the second wireless power antenna circuitry is electrically connected to the first connection point via a first capacitor and to the second connection point via a second capacitor. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
