1. An upper turning body for a mobile crane including a lower traveling body, a turn support attached to the lower traveling body, and the upper turning body that is to be mounted to turn freely on the lower traveling body with the turn support therebetween, the upper turning body for a crane comprising:

  • a turning frame to be mounted on the lower travelling body to turn freely; and

    a boom provided to the turning frame to be raised and lowered freely, whereinthe turning frame includes a pair of attachment brackets to which a base end section of the boom is attached such that the boom is free to be raised and lowered, and a main frame to which the pair of attachment brackets are provided with an interval in a left-right direction of the upper turning body, anda dimension of the main frame in a front-rear direction of the upper turning body orthogonal to the left-right direction is smaller than a dimension of the main frame in the left-right direction,wherein the turning frame further includes a subframe arranged on a rear side of the main frame and separably joined to the main frame, a dimension of the subframe in the left-right direction is smaller than the dimension of the main frame in the left-right direction, a dimension of the subframe in the front-rear direction is larger than the dimension of the subframe in the left-right direction, and the subframe is joined to a center part of the main frame in the left-right direction so as to be formed in a T-shape with the main frame when seen from above.
