First Claim
1. A touch screen unit comprising:
- first connection patterns arranged in a first direction on a substrate;
second connection patterns arranged in a second direction on the substrate and being spaced from the first connection patterns, wherein the first and second directions define a plane;
first sensing cells arranged in the first direction, adjacent ones of the first sensing cells being electrically connected to each other by a corresponding one of the first connection patterns in the first direction;
second sensing cells arranged in the second direction, adjacent ones of the second sensing cells being electrically connected to each other by a corresponding one of the second connection patterns in the second direction; and
an insulating layer between one of the first and second sensing cells and one of the first and second connection patterns,wherein each of the first sensing cells is electrically connected to each adjacent first sensing cell by at least two of the first connection patterns, andwherein each of the first connection patterns is inclined along an entire length thereof with respect to the first or second direction.

A touch screen panel includes: a flat panel display including an upper substrate, a lower substrate, and pixels arranged on a display region of the lower substrate in a stripe arrangement; first sensing cells arranged in a first direction on the upper substrate and second sensing cells arranged in a second direction on the upper substrate; first connection patterns electrically connecting adjacent ones of the first sensing cells to each other in the first direction, and second connection patterns electrically connecting adjacent ones of the second sensing cells to each other in the second direction, wherein at least one of the first connection patterns and the second connection patterns is inclined so that it partially overlaps with the pixels.

a display panel; a plurality of pixels arranged on a display region of the display panel; a substrate; first connection patterns on the substrate; second connection patterns on the substrate; first sensing cells arranged in a first direction, the first sensing cells being electrically connected by the first connection patterns; second sensing cells arranged in a second direction, the second sensing cells being electrically connected by the second connection patterns; and an insulating layer electrically isolating the first sensing cells from the second sensing cells, wherein at least one of the first sensing cells is connected to at least four of the first connection patterns, wherein the first connection patterns are in a single rectangular bar shape having an oblique angle with respect to the first or second direction, wherein the plurality of pixels comprises first colored pixels, second colored pixels and third colored pixels, and same colored pixels in at least one of first, second, and third colors are continuously arranged in the first or second direction, and wherein a portion of at least one of the first connection patterns overlaps a portion of at least one of the pixels in a plan view.

a substrate; first sensing cells arranged in a first direction on the substrate; second sensing cells arranged in a second direction on the substrate; first insulators arranged on the substrate; second insulators arranged on the substrate; first connection patterns arranged on the substrate; and second connection patterns arranged on the substrate and spaced from the first connection patterns, wherein one of the first insulators is located between one of the first sensing cells and one of the first connection patterns in a direction normal to the substrate, wherein one of the second insulators is located between one of the second sensing cells and one of the second connection patterns in the direction normal to the substrate, wherein each of the first sensing cells is electrically connected to each adjacent first sensing cell by at least two of the first connection patterns, wherein each of the first connection patterns is inclined along an entire length thereof with respect to the first or second direction, wherein each of the second sensing cells is electrically connected to each adjacent second sensing cell by at least one of the second connection patterns, wherein each of the first sensing cells directly contacts one end of at least one of the first connection patterns, and wherein each of the second sensing cells directly contacts one end of at least one of the second connection patterns.

a substrate; a first sensing cell on the substrate; a second sensing cell on the substrate; a third sensing cell on the substrate; a fourth sensing cell on the substrate; a first insulator on the substrate; a second insulator on the substrate; a third insulator on the substrate; a first connection pattern on the substrate; a second connection pattern on the substrate; and a third connection pattern on the substrate, wherein the first sensing cell and the second sensing cell are arranged in a first direction, wherein the third sensing cell and the fourth sensing cell are arranged in a second direction, wherein the first sensing cell is electrically connected to the second sensing cell by the third connection pattern, wherein the third sensing cell is electrically connected to the fourth sensing cell by the first connection pattern and the second connection pattern, wherein a lower portion of the first insulator is located between the first sensing cell and an upper portion of the third connection pattern in a direction normal to the substrate, wherein the second insulator is located between the third sensing cell and the first connection pattern in the direction normal to the substrate, wherein the third insulator is located between the third sensing cell and the second connection pattern in the direction normal to the substrate, wherein the first connection pattern is inclined along an entire length thereof with respect to the first or second direction, wherein the second connection pattern is inclined along an entire length thereof with respect to the first or second direction, wherein the first sensing cell directly contacts one end of the third connection pattern, and wherein the third sensing cell directly contacts one end of the first connection pattern and one end of the second connection pattern.

a substrate; a first sensing cell on the substrate; a second sensing cell on the substrate; a third sensing cell on the substrate; a fourth sensing cell on the substrate; a first insulation pattern on the substrate; a second insulation pattern on the substrate; a first connection pattern on the substrate; a second connection pattern on the substrate; and a third connection pattern on the substrate, wherein the first sensing cell and the second sensing cell are arranged in a first direction, wherein the third sensing cell and the fourth sensing cell are arranged in a second direction, wherein the first sensing cell is electrically connected to the second sensing cell by the third connection pattern, wherein the third sensing cell is electrically connected to the fourth sensing cell by the first connection pattern and the second connection pattern, wherein one of the first insulation pattern and the second insulation pattern is located between one of the first, second, third and fourth sensing cells and one of the first, second and third connection patterns in a side view, wherein the first connection pattern is inclined along an entire length thereof with respect to the first or second direction, wherein the second connection pattern is inclined along an entire length thereof with respect to the first or second direction, wherein the first sensing cell directly contacts one end of the third connection pattern, and wherein the third sensing cell directly contacts one end of the first connection pattern and one end of the second connection pattern.
