1. A customer directed golf club head manufacturing system comprising:
- a self-service kiosk configured to transform a club head blank into a finished club head based upon input of a user;
the self-service kiosk including a plurality of club head blanks, a kiosk control system, a user input system, and a machining system;
the kiosk control system in communication with the user input system and the machining system;
the kiosk control system configured to prompt the user to use the user input system to select a plurality of predefined options that influence the configuration of the finished club head, wherein the plurality of predefined options include at least two selected from a group including a bounce, a grind, a leading edge height, a leading edge offset, a score-line pattern, and a groove profile;
wherein the kiosk control system receives the user selected predefined options from the user input system, identifies at least one user specific club head blank from the plurality of club head blanks that meets the requirements of the user selected predefined options, creates machining instructions specific to the at least one user specific club head blank and the user selected predefined options, and transmits the machining instructions to the machining system; and
wherein the machining system machines at least a portion of the at least one of the at least one user specific club head blanks in accordance with the machining instructions to create the finished club head.

a self-service kiosk configured to transform a club head blank into a finished club head based upon input of a user; the self-service kiosk including a plurality of club head blanks, a kiosk control system, a user input system, and a machining system; the kiosk control system in communication with the user input system and the machining system; the kiosk control system configured to prompt the user to use the user input system to select a plurality of predefined options that influence the configuration of the finished club head, wherein the plurality of predefined options include at least two selected from a group including a bounce, a grind, a leading edge height, a leading edge offset, a score-line pattern, and a groove profile; wherein the kiosk control system receives the user selected predefined options from the user input system, identifies at least one user specific club head blank from the plurality of club head blanks that meets the requirements of the user selected predefined options, creates machining instructions specific to the at least one user specific club head blank and the user selected predefined options, and transmits the machining instructions to the machining system; wherein the machining system machines at least a portion of the at least one of the at least one user specific club head blanks in accordance with the machining instructions to create the finished club head; and wherein at least one of the predefined options has an editable attribute value and the user input system allows the user to increase or decrease the editable attribute value within a fixed adjustment range that is specific to at least one of the at least one user specific club head blanks; wherein the kiosk control system identifies at least two user specific club head blanks from the plurality of club head blanks that meet the requirements of the user selected predefined options, the kiosk control system presents the at least two user specific club head blanks to the user and requires the user to select a user selected club head blank from the at least two user specific club head blanks using the user input system, the kiosk control system receives the user selected club head blank from the user input system and creates the machining instructions specific to the user selected club head blank. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)
