  • receiving, at an indoor unit at a subscriber location, first data over a first broadband digital interface, the first broadband digital interface comprising a fiber optic cable from a first outdoor unit located at a first location that receives first wireless signals and performs analog signal processing associated with the received first wireless signals;

    performing, at the indoor unit, digital signal processing on the received first data;

    transmitting, from the indoor unit, first subscriber data comprising Ethernet data over at least one Ethernet interface to at least one of a plurality of first local subscribers;

    receiving, at the indoor unit, second data over a second broadband digital interface, the second broadband digital interface comprising a fiber optic cable from a second outdoor unit located at a second location that receives second wireless signals and performs analog signal processing associated with the second received wireless signals;

    performing, at the indoor unit, digital signal processing on the received second data; and

    transmitting, from the indoor unit, second subscriber data comprising Ethernet data over the at least one Ethernet interface to at least another of a plurality of second local subscribers;

    where the first outdoor unit is adapted to transmit and receive first digital subscriber data over the first broadband digital interface and the second outdoor unit is adapted to transmit and receive second digital subscriber data over the second broadband digital interface with the indoor unit;
