1. A system comprising:
- a plurality of self-powered devices, wherein said self-powered devices are configured to (i) perform instructions and (ii) select one of a plurality of modes of operation; and
at least one remote device configured to (a) store scheduling data and (b) communicate with said plurality of self-powered devices, wherein (i) each of said plurality of self-powered devices selects one of said plurality of modes of operation based on said scheduling data, (ii) each of said plurality of self-powered devices is assigned to one of a plurality of resources and (iii) said self-powered devices assigned to said resources are further configured to (a) self-assess an amount of measured wear of said resource assigned, (b) communicate to said remote device said amount of measured wear and (c) run a local scheduling to opportunistically enter a maintenance mode based on said scheduling data and said amount of measured wear.

Abstract
A system comprising a plurality of self-powered devices and at least one remote device. The plurality of self-powered devices may be configured to perform instructions. The plurality of self-powered devices may be configured to select one of a plurality of modes of operation. The remote device may be configured to store scheduling data. The remote device may be configured to communicate with the self-powered devices. The self-powered devices may select one of the plurality of modes of operation based on the scheduling data.

19. A system comprising:
-
a plurality of self-powered devices, wherein said self-powered devices are configured to (i) perform instructions and (ii) select one of a plurality of modes of operation; and at least one remote device configured to (a) store scheduling data and (b) communicate with said plurality of self-powered devices, wherein (i) wach of said plurality of self-powered devices selects one of said plurality of modes of operation based on said scheduling data, (ii) each of said plurality of self-powered devices is assigned to one of a plurality of resources, (iii) said resources are assigned prices, (iv) activities in said scheduling data have assigned budgets, (v) said assigned prices go up as said resources (a) become depleted in a first mode and (b) are in high demand in a second mode and (vi) said self-powered devices assigned to said resources communicate said assigned prices to said remote device.
