1. A computer-implemented method in an electronic device of managing accident events, the method comprising:

  • accessing a set of sensor data from a set of sensors associated with a vehicle, the set of sensor data at least indicating a location of the vehicle;

    determining, from the set of sensor data, that an accident event occurred;

    in response to determining that the accident event occurred,interfacing with an application installed on the electronic device to identify at least one prior appointment completed by an individual associated with the vehicle,identifying a provider based on the location of the vehicle, wherein the at least one prior appointment was completed at the provider, andaccessing, via a wireless network connection, an availability of the provider; and

    automatically scheduling, via the wireless network connection, an appointment with the provider based on the availability of the provider.
