1. A method, in contexts of debtors with overdue accounts and other contexts in which consumers who have a checking account want to make payments, of securing a check transaction, comprising:

  • when a webpage specific to a check is accessed via a smart phone, capturing a Global Positioning System (GPS) location of the smart phone, and after capturing the GPS location of the smart phone,onto the check that is not blank as to signature, amount or payee, printing a data set in Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) toner ink onto the check, wherein the data set printed in MICR toner ink comprises the captured GPS location in a form of numerical GPS coordinates;

    capturing, performed by a computer, an Internet Protocol (IP) address in usage when a webpage specific to the check is being accessed;

    storing, as permanent records, an identity of the IP address from which the webpage specific to the check is accessed and a date and time of the webpage access from the IP address;

    after the GPS coordinates have been printed onto the check, scanning the check, followed by processing the GPS location obtained from the scanning step into a street address, followed by displaying a map in which is marked (1) the street address from the scanning step and (2) a street address proffered by a payor-user.
