1. A prosthetic heart valve, comprising:

  • an annular stent frame having an expanded condition and a collapsed condition, the stent frame including an annulus inflow portion, an aortic outflow portion, and a plurality of connecting struts, each of the connecting struts having a first end connected to the annulus inflow portion and a second end directly connected to the aortic outflow portion, the annulus inflow portion including a plurality of commissure structures that are spaced from one another in an annular direction around the annulus inflow portion, each of the commissure structures being cantilevered from at least a respective single point on a remaining structure of the annulus inflow portion not part of the commissure structures, each of the commissure structures having an associated pair of connecting struts disposed on opposite sides of the commissure structure in the annular direction, the annulus inflow portion being devoid of structure between each commissure structure and the associated pair of connecting struts; and

    a plurality of valve leaflets supported by the annulus inflow portion.
