1. A virtual medical system for minimizing anxiety of a patient with health problems and for speedy identification of the patient'"'"'s health problems, said system designed to speedily navigate the patient to the most appropriate medical provider and/or service most responsive to the patient'"'"'s health problems, said system to include:

  • a) an incoming and outgoing virtual call center having navigation personnel and facilities for communications between said patient and said navigation personnel of the call center, said navigation personnel comprising healthcare providers who identify the most appropriate provider within the call center for either (i) providing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and/or education to said patient, or (ii) further navigating the patient to the most appropriate provider outside the call center for assessing, diagnosing and/or treating the patient'"'"'s symptoms, and said call center having facilities for receiving, recording and displaying patient physiological data from one or more of the following sources;

    physiological monitors possessed by the patient, remote facilities with patient physiological monitors and/or patient physiological data in the patient'"'"'s electronic health records, and health care personnel associated with the patient;

    b) said communications and patient physiological data enabling said navigation personnel to assess, diagnose, treat and/or refer said patient to one or more of the following;

    a laboratory, imaging facility, pharmacy, home health personnel, physical therapists, ambulance facilities, hospitals, emergency room, physician and/or medical specialist for the patient'"'"'s medical condition; and

    c) said call center also having communication facilities for oral and data communications for providing notifications, physiological data, reminders and status communications to selected medical care providers selected from the following group;

    laboratories, imaging centers, pharmacies, home health personnel, physical therapists, ambulance facilities, hospitals, emergency rooms, physicians, and/or medical specialists.
