Content management based on spatial and temporal information
First Claim
1. A method executed on a computing device to provide content management based on spatial and temporal information, the method comprising:
- receiving a location of a client device and an identifier associated with a user of the client device;
processing a schedule of the user to identify a geo-fenced area assigned to the user during a designated time-period;
detecting the location of the client device within the geo-fenced area during the designated time-period;
providing a content to the client device; and
in response to verifying an access to the content by the user during the designated time period, disabling a protection scheme applied to the content that restricts the access to the content.

Abstract
Variety of approaches to provide content management based on spatial and temporal information are described. A hosted service initiates operations to provide content management based on spatial and temporal information upon receiving a location of a client device and a user identifier. A schedule of the user is processed to identify a geo-fenced area assigned to the user during a designated time-period. Upon detecting the location of the client device as within the geo-fenced area during the designated time-period, a content is provided to the client device for rendering to the user in relation to a task assigned to the user within the schedule.

13. A server configured to provide content access management based on spatial and temporal information, the server comprising:
-
a memory configured to store instructions; and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor executing a hosted service in conjunction with the instructions stored in the memory, wherein the processor is configured to; receive a location of a client device and a biometric identifier associated with a user of the client device; process a schedule of the user to identify a task assigned to the user with a geo-fenced area and a time-slot as a property of the task; detect the location of the client device within the geo-fenced area during the time-slot associated with the task; retrieve a biometric information of the user from a profile of the user hosted by a personnel data source; verify the biometric identifier as matching the biometric information of the user; provide the content to the client device; and in response to verifying an access to the content by the user during the designated time period, disable a protection scheme applied to the content that restricts the access to the content. - View Dependent Claims (14, 15, 16, 17, 18)

-
receiving a location of a client device and a biometric identifier associated with a user of the client device; processing a schedule of the user to identify a task assigned to the user with a geo-fenced area and a time-slot as a property of the task; detecting the location of the client device within the geo-fenced area during the time-slot associated with the task; retrieving a biometric information of the user from a profile of the user hosted by a personnel data source; verifying the biometric identifier as matching the biometric information of the user; providing the content to the client device; and in response to verifying an access to the content by the user during the designated time period, disabling a protection scheme applied to the content that restricts the access to the content. - View Dependent Claims (20)
