1. A method of load balancing wireless power receiver clients over multiple retrodirective wireless power transmission systems in a wireless power delivery environment, the method comprising:

  • identifying transmitter load information associated with at least two geographically diverse wireless power transmission systems of the multiple retrodirective wireless power transmission systems,wherein each wireless power transmission system is configured to transmit directed wireless power to a wireless power receiver client over multiple paths via multiple adaptively phased antennas;

    detecting a load imbalance between the at least two wireless power transmission systems based, at least in part, on the transmitter load information;

    determining one or more operations for improving the load imbalance including directing one or more of the at least two wireless power transmission systems to handoff one or more wireless power receiver clients; and

    directing one or more of the at least two wireless power transmission systems to perform the one or more operations.
