1. A network, comprising:

  • a plurality of radio nodes which are in communication with each other and which are organized in a mesh topology, wherein said plurality of radio nodes include first and second sets of RF devices that communicate via first and second distinct protocols or RF technologies;

    an RF collector which aggregates a spectrum of RF communications from the plurality of radio nodes, thereby obtaining aggregated RF communications, and which normalizes the aggregated RF communications into a singular output format; and

    an RF client, an instance of which is associated with each radio node, wherein said RF client implements a hyper distribution communications protocol among the nodes, and wherein said client maintains a decentralized and distributed database of transactions between the radio nodes;

    wherein said spectrum of RF communications includes RF communications which utilize electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track RFID tags attached to objects, wherein said RFID tags contain electronically stored information, and wherein said RFID tags are selected from the group consisting of passive tags which collect energy from interrogating radio waves of a proximal RFID reader, and active tags which are equipped with a local power source.
