1. A computing system, comprising:

  • one or more processors; and

    a memory communicatively coupled with and readable by the one or more processors and having stored therein processor-readable instructions which, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the computing system to perform actions comprising;

    processing and causing storing of at least part of media content;

    playing only highlights from the media content at least partially by;

    processing first time information corresponding to a first event occurring in playback of the media content, where the first time information comprises;

    a first pre-event time prior to occurrence of the first event in the playback of the media content; and

    a first post-event time subsequent to the occurrence of the first event in the playback of the media content;

    automatically adjusting, without user input, the playing of the media content to a first position associated with the first pre-event time prior to occurrence of the first event, and causing the playback of the media content from the first position until a subsequent position during the playback that corresponds to the first post-event time;

    processing second time information corresponding to a second event occurring in the playback of the media content, where the second time information comprises;

    a second pre-event time prior to occurrence of the second event in the playback of the media content; and

    a second post-event time subsequent to the occurrence of the second event in the playback of the media content; and

    automatically adjusting, without user input, the playing of the media content to a second position associated with the second pre-event time prior to occurrence of the second event, and causing the playback of the media content from the second position until a subsequent position during the playback that corresponds to the second post-event time, wherein one or both of the first event and the second event were differentiated as potentially interesting or significant over other portions of the media content based at least in part on actions attributed to a group of individuals.
