1. An entertainment system for presenting enhanced entertainment content to a user, the system comprising:

  • a plurality of actuator modules positioned at various locations on a user'"'"'s body, each actuator module configured to vibrate based on a respective one of a plurality of vibratory output signals to provide tactile sensations in synchrony with a selected portion of the entertainment content, wherein each vibratory output signal represents at least one of a plurality of individual audio tracks, and each individual audio track comprises sound effect content associated with the entertainment content, andwherein each actuator module includes;

    a microprocessor configured to provide the corresponding vibratory output signal;

    a module wireless receiver configured to receive wireless signals and provide the wireless signals to the microprocessor;

    an amplifier connected to the microprocessor and configured to amplify the vibratory output signal;

    an actuator connected to the amplifier and configured to vibrate based on the amplified vibratory output signal; and

    a power source configured to provide power to the microprocessor, amplifier, and module wireless receiver.
