1. An apparatus comprising:

  • a source conductive path to detachably couple a power source to a load conductive path,the source conductive path included in a garment and the load conductive path coupled to a head mounted wearable device (HMWD);

    wherein, a transmitter coil of the source conductive path and a receiver coil of the load conductive path are magnetically coupled, via a magnetic induction coupling or a magnetic resonance coupling, to provide wireless energy transfer;

    wherein the magnetic induction coupling uses magnetic induction with an operating frequency in the range of 50 Hz to 500 kHz and comprises;

    a magnetic induction coupling distance between the transmitter coil and the receiver coil in the range of 5 mm to 10 mm; and

    wherein the magnetic resonance coupling uses magnetic resonance with an operating frequency in the range of 1.0 MHz to 50 MHz and comprises;

    a first magnetic resonance coupling distance between a first end of the transmitter coil and a first end of the receiver coil, and a second magnetic resonance coupling distance between a second end of the transmitter coil and a second end of the receiver coil, wherein the first magnetic resonance coupling distance is in the range of 20 mm to 40 mm and is less than the second magnetic resonance coupling distance.
