Systems and methods for multi-signal fault analysis
First Claim
1. A system comprising:
- at least one processor and executable instructions accessible on a computer-readable medium that, when executed, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising;
receiving a user test request information, over a network, from a first mobile device, the user test request information including a request for a fault analysis of a vehicle;
identifying, at a network-based marketplace, test design information associated based on the user test request informationcommunicating, over the network, the test design information to the first mobile device;
receiving signal message information, over a network, from a collection device based on the test design information, the collection device being comprised of a plurality of mobile devices including the first mobile device and a second mobile device, the signal message information including first signal message information and second signal message information,the first signal message information including a first maintenance message including characterization information received by the first mobile device from a component included in the vehicle,the second signal message information including signal information being received by the second mobile device, the signal information representing a physical phenomenon sensed by the second mobile device;
analyzing the first and second signal message information to identify a problem of the vehicle.

Abstract
A system and method for multi-signal fault analysis is described. The system receives user test request information from a first mobile device. The user test request information includes a request for fault analysis of a vehicle and a set of symptoms associated with a fault of a vehicle. The system identifies a test design information associated with the fault based on the user test request information. The test design information includes instructions for the first mobile device and a second mobile device. The test design information establishes conditions for performing a collection of a plurality of signal message information. The system communicates the test design information to the first mobile device.
