1. A method comprising:

  • computing, by a processor of a computerized device, a proposed location for a driver of a vehicle, wherein the proposed location is an approximated location where the vehicle can wait until a location-based event occurs in a geographical area, wherein said computing comprises;

    defining potential locations within the geographical area, from which the proposed location where the vehicle can wait until a location-based event occurs may be selected, wherein the locations of the location-based events differ from the potential locations;

    for each potential location within the geographical area, computing a measurement indicative of an estimated elapsed time until the location based event occurring in a proximity of the potential location; and

    selecting the proposed location from the potential locations based on the computed measurements; and

    providing directions and instructions to the driver, wherein the directions and instructions direct the driver to the proposed location, wherein the directions and instructions are provided via a user interface, whereby the driver is directed to drive the vehicle to the proposed location.
