1. A method implemented in a computer infrastructure comprising a combination of hardware and software, the method comprising:

  • creating an electronic archive for a user based on a family tree using an archive engine, including prompting the user to enter relationship policies regarding how many generations of the family tree to analyze in creating the electronic archive and creating content policies for the electronic archive;

    discovering Internet-based data associated with at least one member of the family tree using the archive engine comprising;

    crawling through a plurality of nodes and analyzing at least one site identified in at least one of the plurality of nodes;

    inspecting the at least one site for at least one new link that matches a name of a member of the family tree, the at least one new link being a link to another site at which the user has an account;

    sending a message to the user associated with the at least one new link requesting permission to update the at least one of the plurality of nodes with the at least one new link; and

    adding the at least one new link to the at least one of the plurality of nodes upon receiving permission from the user;

    identifying the Internet-based data within the at least one site which complies with the content policies and which has not been collected in the past;

    adding the identified Internet-based data to the at least one of the plurality of nodes and marking the identified Internet-based data as new and un-reviewed data;

    presenting the new and un-reviewed data to the user for permission or denial to add the new and un-reviewed data to the archive using the archive engine; and

    adding the Internet-based data from the at least one site to the archive, using the archive engine, upon receiving permission from the user.
