1. An apparatus for coupling to an input connection of an electron gun, the input connection having a heater terminal and a cathode terminal, the apparatus comprising:
- a connector having a first end and a second end;
wherein the first end of the connector is configured to attach to a cable;
wherein the second end of the connector is configured to connect to the input connection of the electron gun;
wherein the connector comprises an opening configured to receive the heater terminal of the input connection of the electron gun;
wherein the apparatus further comprises a tube, and a seal structure disposed at one end of the tube, the seal structure having an opening for receiving the cable, wherein the seal structure has a curvilinear inner surface, and wherein a distance between the curvilinear inner surface and the cable varies non-linearly as a function of a position along a longitudinal axis of the cable.
